Alright, I know I am a senior in college, but going to Disneyland is still really fun. I went there last weekend with my friends and had an absolute blast! I grew up in Southern California so I have been going to Disneyland for many years. The place doesn’t get old at all…at least not to me.
I can safely say that some of my most prized memories growing up occurred at Disneyland. I have gone there every year on Christmas Day with my family since I can remember. I went there during my Grad Night when I graduated from high school a few years ago. I could go on about my Disneyland memories for days.
The fact that I still love going to Disneyland with my family and friends has made me realize that certain things don’t seem to change as people get older. Some things manage to stay the same even through the course of the years.
Playing video games is another example of this. Most of my friends still love playing video games long after childhood. Video games are still fun and entertaining to me even though I have many more things going on in my life as an adult than I did as a child.
What other things do people enjoy no matter what stage they are in their lives?
I can see how Disneyland is constant in your life. The place is indeed fit to foster the happiest moments in one’s life. Recently, I heard the prices have gone up substantially, how true is that? Considering how you’ve been going there FOREVER (I think I’ve gone like 3 times in my whole life), how have the prices changed over time?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I hate (yes, hate) about Disneyland is how expensive park food can be! I’m planning on going with my family after graduation so I’m definitely going to have a solid meal before.
Also, seeing that you’ve been there a gazillion times, my family and I are thinking of trying California Adventure for the first time? However, we’re a little hesitant because we’ve never been there just to Disneyland’s Magic Kingdom. And, of course, like you said, who could go wrong with the original.
So what do you suggest Disneyland guru, Magic Kingdom or California Adventure?
I agree with you that somethings just never change. As you said, playing video games never gets old for me.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in elementary school, I used to love playing Super Mario Bros, and I said to myself that I will probably quit playing games by the time I hit 20. Oh man, I couldn't have been any more wrong. Not only do I still play games, but I play even more after being hooked onto MMORPGs like WoW and MOBAs like League of Legends.
Looking at myself now, I don't think I'll ever quit gaming.
